.... and spots are filling fast!

April 23, 2026

If you're still searching for the perfect summer camp for your kids, look no further than Inner Peaks - and yes, we mean that literally. This summer, your kids can scale real walls, make new friends, and discover a sport that builds confidence from the ground up (or rather, from the floor to the ceiling!).

Inner Peaks Summer Camp registration is officially open, and with limited spots available, now is the time to claim yours.

What Is Inner Peaks?

Inner Peaks is Charlotte's premier indoor rock climbing gym, with locations in South End, Matthews, and NoDa. They've built a community around the idea that climbing is for everyone - beginners and experienced athletes alike - and their summer camps bring that same welcoming spirit to kids ages 6-14.

Three Camp Options for Every Skill Level

One of the things that makes Inner Peaks Summer Camp stand out is that there's a program designed specifically for where your child is right now - no experience needed to get started!

Base Camp is perfect for new climbers and first-time campers. It's a safe, supportive, and fun introduction to the sport where kids learn the basics while building friendships and confidence.

Crag Crashers is designed for returning campers or kids with some climbing experience who are ready to level up. Campers dive into more advanced techniques and even get a special excursion to another Inner Peaks location for a bonus adventure.

Send It Camp is the ultimate experience for older adventurers ages 10-14 who want to push their limits. Think advanced skills, team challenges, and a serious dose of fun - all in a structured, supportive environment.

What's Included?

All camps run full-day from 9am-3pm (Send It runs until 4pm), and early/late care is available for added flexibility. Every camper gets all the climbing gear they need - no equipment to buy or rent separately. Staff are trained in CPR, SafeSport protocols, and risk management, so you can drop off with total peace of mind.

Each day builds on the last, with activities that include learning to tie knots, belaying, rappelling, climbing techniques, and team-building games. It's the kind of week kids talk about all year long.

Why Families Love It

With a 1:6 coach-to-camper ratio, your child gets real attention and real coaching — not just supervised free time. Inner Peaks keeps group sizes small on purpose, because they know that's how kids actually grow. And because the camps are held indoors, you never have to worry about the summer heat putting a damper on the fun.

Whether your child has never touched a climbing wall or already considers themselves a seasoned crusher, there's a spot waiting for them at Inner Peaks this summer.

Let your kids climb our walls - not yours! 😄
