If you've ever spent an afternoon searching for preschools and ended up with more questions than answers, this one's for you. We've done the legwork and pulled together the most comprehensive list of preschools in South Charlotte and Union County all in one place - from Ballantyne and Matthews all the way through Waxhaw, Weddington, Indian Trail, and Monroe. Whether you're looking for a faith-based program, a Montessori approach, a nationally recognized curriculum, or a small neighborhood school, this is your go-to resource. Bookmark it, share it with your mom friends, and come back to it every time someone asks, "Do you know any good preschools around here?"
One important thing to keep in mind: preschool spots in our area fill up fast - sometimes faster than you'd expect. Registration deadlines, open enrollment windows, and availability vary from school to school, so we strongly encourage you to reach out directly to any school that catches your eye to confirm current availability and enrollment timelines. If a school feels right, don't wait - make that call! And if we missed a school that deserves to be on this list, please let us know. This guide is a living resource, and we're always looking to make it better for our community.
